Total Solar Elipse of July 22, 2009

The total solar eclipse of July 22, 2009 is said to be the longest eclipse of this century. For details on eclipse see NASA at:

http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEmono/TSE2009/TSE2009.html.

Found that the best satellite imagery is in the visible spectrum on the MTSAT-1R satellite:

Link: http://internationalweatherarchive.org/satViewer.php
Satellite: MTSAT-1R
Sector: Full disk
Band: Visible
Start Time: 2009/07/22 00UTC
End Time: 2009/07/22 05UTC

I've seen eclipses before and have noticed cooling of the air. Was a bit surprised that IR did not show this cooling.
